We went on a 5 mile canoe trip while we were in Arkansas. We had 5 canoes, 8 adults, and 7 kids. Grandpa and Uncle Adam had the hardest time because they had kids as their front paddlers, they weren't a whole lot of help, but they had fun.
The kids were pretty excited and were sitting in the boat ready to go before we adults got everything in line.
Matthew was in my boat and had a great time for a while, he liked to lean over and stick his hand or whatever else he had in the water, but inevitably whatever he was holding would be left behind for the next boat to pick up.
Everybody had fun splashing(
OK a couple of the kids didn't like the splashing), and seeing turtles and snakes. We also saw a Great Blue Heron that seemed like it was leading us away from a nest because it would fly a little bit away, and show off and then do it again and again.
